Our client (Ludowici Roof Tile) specializes in the creation of custom-made/custom-fit roof tiles. In order to ensure the tiles fit correctly on odd shaped roofs (domes, turrets, etc.), the roof surface is laserscanned to obtain exact dimensions. The client is then able to put the scan data into CADD software to determine the correct size and location for each tile. This allows the tiles to be custom cut prior to installation reducing waste and reducing the time and expense of installation.
